Who this book is for
This book is for anyone who wants to learn how to use Visual C# to develop business applications and who's working with Visual Studio 2002 or 2003. If you're using a later edition of Visual Studio, please see Murach's C# 2005 or Murach's C# 2008 instead.
In terms of prerequisites, this book works if you have no programming experience at all. It works if you have programming experience with another language like Java, C++, or COBOL. It works if you're an experienced .NET developer who's new to C#. And it works if you've already read 3 or 4 other C# books and still don't know how to develop a real-world business application.
