How to get a review copy
Our review copy policy
- We are happy to send review copies to any schools or instructors who have adopted our books in the past or who are currently using our books.
- We do screen review copy requests (because the abuses have been extensive), but we rarely refuse a reasonable request.
- In case you're wondering: We never bill for review copies, and you are never expected to return them if you don't adopt.
2 ways to get a review copy
- The easiest way to get a review copy is to use our complimentary request form.
- Otherwise, you can call, email, or fax your request. Please include:
- Your shipping address at the school including department name
- Your email address at the school
- The title of the book you're requesting
- The name of your course
- The expected yearly enrollment
- The title of the book you're currently using for the course
(What we're looking for is some indication that our book has an honest chance for an adoption.)
No sales rep will call!
In case you aren't familiar with us, we do all of our marketing through our web site and email. That means we don't do telemarketing and we don't make sales calls. In other words, our books and instructor's materials have to sell themselves. And we're proud to say that they do.
After you receive a review copy, we usually follow up via email, just to make sure you got the book and to see whether you have any questions. We also follow up once or twice a year to tell you if anything has changed and to see whether you have any questions or comments. So if you want us to stay in touch, please let us know if your email address changes.
Finally, if you have any questions or requests, please contact us. We are a small company and can usually accommodate you, especially if it means an adoption.
