Who this book is for
This book is for anyone who wants to learn how to use Visual Basic to develop business applications and who’s working with Visual Studio 2002 or 2003. If you’re using a later edition of Visual Studio, please see Murach’s Visual Basic 2005 or Murach’s Visual Basic 2008 instead.
In terms of prerequisites, this book works if you have no programming experience at all. It works if you have programming experience with another language like COBOL or Java. It works if you already know Visual Basic 6. And it works if you’ve already read 3 or 4 other Visual Basic .NET books and still don't know how to develop a real-world business application.
